Following our farewell concert on Saturday May 9th we are sorry to announce that Hull Choral Union has now folded. This website will continue to operate until January 2027.

Our Former Conductor

PR Dewhurst is an inspiring Conductor and brilliant musician who always chooses an interesting and varied programme that choirs enjoy singing. Rehearsals are fun but expectations are high. This, combined with a reassuring command of the orchestra and soloists, results in high quality concerts. He continues to conduct the East Riding County Choir and Beverley Chamber Choir.
